UCITS KIID to end next July?

News has been coming from a number of sources over the last 2 days, including Ignites Europe yesterday, suggesting that UCITS KIIDs are set to end next July and BVI German Investment Funds Association with their comment below:

“…there will be no confusion for investors and advisers as there will be no coexistence of PRIIPS and UCITS [KIDs / KIIDS] for a fund with different information.”
