IWD21: celebrating diversity

At Kneip we recognise the importance of gender diversity in the workplace, and we are very proud to employ successful women and men across all roles and levels of our organisation, compiling of 45% women and 55% men. Getting towards gender balance is good, but we know there is a lot more we can do to foster a progressive corporate culture within Kneip and our wider community.

This is why in 2021 we committed to do more for equality and diversity in the workplace than ever before. Within our organisation, every member of the Executive Leadership Team shares a common objective to lead the development of a progressive corporate culture, and we are rolling out a new diversity and inclusion programme sponsored by our Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, with new initiatives in key areas such as cultural diversity and mental health.

As an industry leader, we also want to be more deliberate in driving change and encouraging diversity and inclusion within our community. This means ensuring our suppliers are inclusive employers, and challenging the ones that are not. It also means facilitating and participating in conversations that challenge gender bias and inequality in our industry. You can read about some of our recent involvement with events such as 10 Women to Lead and LGBT on Top here: www.kneip.com/diversity.
