Brexit latest news from the ongoing withdrawal negotiations between the UK and EU.

Here are six things we learnt over the weekend (14 Dec 2020):

  1. The UK has agreed not to renege on EU Withdrawal Agreement.
  2. The EU Commission issues targeted contingency measures applicable 01 Jan.
  3. On Friday, UK Government and EU Council anticipated No-Deal “most probable”.
  4. On Sunday UK-EU pledged to “go the extra mile”.
  5. Today: tentative  “constructive progress”.
  6. No deadline set: “…could drag on until Christmas”.
